In the EU year of Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, this project has been designed to support the principle that everyone has the right to learn and that learning plays a significant role in personal growth and emancipation, prosperity, solidarity and local and global responsibility.   A key objective of this project is to increase the participation in lifelong learning of marginalised and disadvantaged groups and increase their engagement with civic society and learning. It fosters opportunities based on participation in local activities exploring the ‘hidden histories’ of Deaf, migrant and rural communities.
